Interesting article, I specialize in creating Wordpress sites, I believe that sites need to have a good UX/UI, they need to be fast and optimized for search engines, SEO is very important.

I've seen many beautiful sites that don't perform well on the web.

Hey Adriano! 👋🏻

You're absolutely right! A website is primarily an information carrier, and aesthetics come second. But good UI/UX with the right content is becoming even more important in the AI era.

Think about it - Google's AI overviews are now eating up a lot of our traffic. So those visitors who actually click through to our websites need to be engaged even more effectively. They're coming with higher intent and expectations.

That's exactly why the content-first approach I described works so well. When you have solid, well-structured content that answers real questions, and then you layer on good UX/UI and fast performance, you create something that both users and search engines love.

Beautiful sites that don't perform are exactly what I'm trying to help people avoid. Function first, then form - but both are essential for success today.

Thanks for adding that perspective!
